§Theory: Grammar, Lexis, Phonology, Lesson Planning I & II

§Grammar: Present Time, Past Time, Future Time, Questions, Nouns & Pronouns

§Demo VLC lessons: BE/Simple Present, Past Simple, Conversation

§Students take 4 quizzes; Do 4 observation reviews; Complete 2 lesson plans

Practicum: 16

Two

§Lead 3 ½ hrs. and observe/log 16 ½ hrs. of conversation class

§Choose grammar mentor

§Theory: Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing, Motivation, Method Survey, Role of Error, Error Correction

§Grammar: Phrasal Verbs, Modal Auxiliaries, Connectors, Comparisons, Passive Verbs

§Demo VLC lessons:  Phrasal Verbs, Futures, Tense Review, Past Continuous, Present Perfect

§Take 5 quizzes; Do 5 observation reviews

Three

§Lead 3 ½ hrs. of grammar class; observe and log 16 ½ hrs. of grammar class

§Theory: L1 & L2 Learning, Student Characteristics, Student Needs, Presentation Activities, Practice Activities, Assessment Activities, Lesson Planning

§Grammar: Count/NC Nouns, Adjective Clauses, Gerunds & Infinitives, Noun Clauses, Preposition Combinations

§Demo VLC lessons: Real Conditionals, Modal Review, Past Modals, Noun Clauses, Reported Speech

§Take grammar/theory test, 4 quizzes; Do 5 observation reviews

Four

§Lead 4 hrs. and observe /log 4 hrs. of conv. class

§Observe and log 4 hrs. of high-level grammar class

§Theory: Reference Materials, Coursebook Choice, Supplementary Materials, Teachers’ Language, Grouping Students

§Grammar: Modal Auxiliaries II
