Spanish Program Start Dates

La Minerva in Guadalajara Mexico

Classes begin every Monday, (unless it is a holiday), it is best to start your language program on the start dates listed below. If you are coming from out-of-town, try to arrive in Guadalajara two or three days before classes begin so you are familiar with the school, the City and buses.

Intensive Spanish Program

This program is a combination of both grammar and conversation.

Grammar: Monday to Friday 9:30 -11:30 a.m.
Conversation: Monday to Friday 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Monday to Friday 9:30-11:30 AM

Spanish Conversation Courses

Monday to Friday 12:00-2:00 PM

Survival Spanish

Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m

Afternoon Spanish Clases
Grammar & Conversation
Moday through Friday, 3:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m or 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m

VLC School Holidays

TEC and TBE Electives run subsequent and concurrent with the TEFL Program.

When planning your studies, please note that classes will not be held during the following periods:

July 29 - 4 August 2012


VLC is also closed for the following Mexican cultural holidays every year. For many students and residents these holidays often provide ideal long weekend opportunities to visit beaches and nearby towns.

Take advantage of these school holidays to plan your sightseeing trips around Mexico. Although these times are also popular travel times for Mexicans, it is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in Mexican culture.
